History of friendlist

friendlist was inspired by two friends who had come together after an 8-year long gap to catch up. There was no reason for the gap; it was just another one of those “we should do something soon” moments which dragged on for too long.

Life in the 21st century is very fast paced; people are more ‘connected’ now than ever before yet at the same time, seem equally disconnected from each other. Everyone has large social circles and countless friends on social media. We meet the most interesting people every day but forget about them just as quickly, losing countless opportunities for personal or business gain. friendlist aims to bridge that gap by providing an easy-to-use social connection organizer on your device.

The team at friendlist prides itself on communication and transparency. We aim to build a product that will add value to the lives of our users and inspire more communication and connection among various social circles. We commit to continuously improve our product by adding more useful features with the feedback we receive from our users, who will be the foundation for the future of friendlist.

• Connections: Any friend, family member, business associate, sports partner, etc. can be added in just a few simple steps – just like a phone book, but better.
• Notifications: friendlist will help you not to miss dates important for your contacts, as well as remind you to say ‘Hi’ from time to time.
• Communities: Group your connections into custom communities for any occasion, such as Family, Friends, Games, Clients, football. etc.
• Private Lists and Communities: Protect some of your most important contacts with a PIN code, and keep them totally isolated from the outside world.
• Events: this feature is coming soon, and it will allow users to organize private events, invite their connections, and be sure not to miss anyone.

Is it free to use?

In order to support running costs, friendlist follows a freemium model. Users will be able to enjoy all the features of the app for free but will be limited by the number of connections and communities they can add. friendlist enthusiasts will be able to upgrade to Premium which removes these restrictions.
